Steve has worked in Financial Services since leaving university where he studied Investment & Accounting. His first role was working in Foreign Exchange, and then transitioned to Wealth Management. He joined Bellpenny to Head the Paraplanning Department, and in early 2014 he decided to specialise in investments and took responsibility for Bellpenny’s Centralised Investment proposition (CIP).
At that time he was given a remit to plan and launch a sister company to Bellpenny with the aim of providing Investment solutions to a segment of Bellpenny clients. In September 2014 the FCA approved Avellemy to provide risk based discretionary model portfolios. Those models are used alongside other third party investment solutions which make up the CIP to ensure that Bellpenny clients are invested in line with their risk profile in the most appropriate solution for their individual circumstance.
